McCain recently gave a speech from the perspective of the "future". In this speech from 2013, he highlights all of his accomplishments from the first term. The campaign released an ad that goes along with this. I expect this is done to compare / contrast that (maybe?). Some have called McCain's expectations for what he has achieved as "delusional" as well.
